Home / About me
I am a Furniture Designer with a diversity of skills and experiences that inform my work. I am a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design with a BFA in Furniture Design, and I have a background in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. I have worked the floor in modern factory production lines, and I have apprenticed in a traditional craft in a small workshop. I enjoy creating utilitarian objects with an ethos behind them.
My approach to design is framed by my history in technology and manufacturing. The considerations of engineering and production are inspiration rather than limitation. My values of sustainability, aesthetics, and integrity are baked into everything I design, while leaving room for the needs of the project and personal exploration.
I am competent in industry standard design programs such as AutoCad, Fusion 360, Rhino, Keyshot, and the Adobe suite, and I learn new technologies easily. I have a passion for following industry trends, and a firm grasp of current and traditional furniture styles.
